Friendship Bracelets from Guild Craft

Game Ideas
Hot Potato (A circle game): Pass a beanbag, ball or potato around the circle
while you sing a song, or play some music. When the song ends or the music
stops, whoever has the potato says something nice to the person next to him or
her. Then they get to go in the middle of the circle, "heaven" (where people go
who know how to love other people.) Continue playing until everyone is in the
middle of the circle.

Cute Ruth Craft, but I don't like to cut that much with my 3 year olds...

Game Ideas
"Ruth's Run" is a game idea taken from the book Bible Story Games for Preschoolers by Group Publishing. In this game there are 2 large bowls, dry beans and small paper cups.  You fill one bowl with the beans, and place it on the floor.  Place the other bowl across the room.  Now have students take cups of beans from one bowl to the empty bowl, taking turns like in a relay.  Say, "The Bible tells us about Ruth, who worked hard stooping to scoop up grain and carry it home so that she and her mother-in-law could eat." You could also play with 2 different "teams" if you would like.
